80 Manage the air, waste, noise and water discharges of the plant to make sure that all meet legal and corporate requirements.
80 Take the leadership of maintaining ISO14001 Environmental Management System for the plant.
80 Develop and implement a hazardous material control process for the plant.
80 Manage the EHS permit applications and renewal process for the plant
80 Manage and report on environmental metrics to plant and corporate staffs.
80 Recommend annual EHS goals to the Plant Manager, monitor and communicate plant performance
80 Manage all technical aspects of the plant’s safety programs including engaging plant leadership, recordkeeping, metrics, accident prevention, machine guarding and lockout, emergency procedures, fire protection, vehicle safety, emergency preparedness and training.
80 Manage industrial hygiene programs, including employee exposure monitoring, noise control, PPE, confined space, ergonomics and training
80 Forecast and manage the plant’s EHS budget. Provide plant management and project teams with cost estimates for new or upgraded EHS controls
80 Ensure that all new projects have undergone an EHS review and that necessary controls have been budgeted and are provided.
80 Conduct daily EHS plant tours and participate in weekly plant manager’s EHS audits
80 Develop EHS training materials and a process to deliver same.
80 Ensure plant has the staffing necessary to effectively implement the legal requirements of the country and Corporate EHS programs (Senior)

80 Manage an audit system to assess plant performance on legal, Corporate and continuous improvement goals (Senior)
80 Manage a team of consultants and suppliers who can implement specialized EHS projects at the plants (Senior)

80 Develop the necessary systems to ensure that plant leadership is engaged in implementation EHS processes (Senior)
80 Train and mentor EHS engineers (Senior)
80 Communicate effectively with other Regional and Corporate EHS Managers by providing project update, annual goals and plant performance information (Senior)
80 Ensure that plant activity budgets adequately for EHS programs and projects and meets budget targets (Senior)
80 Provide support to other staffs on EHS issues and projects (Senior)
80 To monitor proposed/new/modified EHS regulations and to ensure that plant and business activities are in compliance (Senior)
80 Support annual CHINA EHS conference/workshop (Senior)
80 Able to work effectively with local regulators and peer group (Senior)
